John Leguizamo was on Late Late Show tonight - on crutches!

He said he was injured doing the scene where he was slammed against the wall (which appears in tonight's episode). He said that scene took several takes, and he ended up tearing his Achilles' tendon. He was transferred to a hospital, and was in his doctor uniform the whole time.

The clip they showed was a heavy argument Clemente has with Luka. Lequizamo said he noticed how Goran tried to speak over him in that scene, and jokingly called Goran a "little b@**@rd" under his breath.

I enjoyed JL describing Goran as the only person with a name more difficult than his own. LOL! I will say that John did a good job with the pronouciation of Visnjic.

The interview was nothing substantive, but the two guys played off one another well and looks like they enjoy working together.

The interview is conducted by a female news anchor. She mispronounces JL's name and he is very gracious about it. MP says she should just call him 'Johnny Legs' and JL laughs and agrees.

She then tells MP that she had hoped Pratt would reconcile with his father. MP tells her that she needs to keep watching, the story is not over but he won't tell her what happens. JL says MP is 'a tease' while MP counters that this is 'foreplay' and he's good at it. Lots of laughter all around.

She asks JL about the upcoming eppy as we see a scene with Luka and Abby and the paramedics bringing the little girl into the ER. He says that this was his toughest episode thus far because it was about a little girl who is molested and it is based on real life cases. He mentions that he and Luka butt heads over the case.

She asks MP why ER has been able to keep things going for so many years. He credits the cast and crew as well as the writers. He specifically mentions how the addition of talented guest stars has kept things fresh and JL thanks him.

JL adds that he did his first scene with MP and that they worked well together, both of them having 'that East Coast energy' and that it was during that scene that he could feel Clemente come to life and knew the character would work.

She asks MP what he has in thw works outside of ER and he tells her he has a lot of things happening, always busy, plate is full, etc. and that she needs to

John Leguizamo Tough Stint on ER

John Leguizamo admits that making tomorrow night's (11/10) "ER" episode was a wrenching experience for him. His storyline has to do with "a little girl who's been molested, and that was depressing. I have a daughter myself. Luckily, they got a girl who is like the Meryl Streep of children, and that helped," he adds, speaking of juvenile performer Juliet Goglia (cq).

Leguizamo doesn't mind admitting he's found his "E.R." stint a challenge in general -- but also wants us to know he's proud of the work he's been doing on the 12-year-old show. "I was really daunted. I'm serious. It was really tough; they shoot 8-9 pages a day, where small independent movies shoot maybe five pages a day. And they have 75-to-80-page scripts, where other hour shows do 50. So it means you're moving and talking at a certain pace, and it's exact, precise stuff."

So what brought the Emmy-winning star of stage and screen into the series in the first place? "Well, I've got to say the money was really nice. The money was really exciting," he says with a laugh, adding, "It's great acting, great writing."

MEANWHILE:

Laura Innes, who directed the episode, which also features C Thomas Howell, reports it contained "huge logistical stuff" to deal with, in addition to the story of the girl. "There are also fist fights, a big shootout and blood gags," says the actress/director, using industry parlance for special effects wounds. "It was really fun, and took a lot of planning with storyboards and special effects and stunt people."

Innes is well aware that some TV pundits are poised to pronounce the show a terminal case based on its advanced age. The actress/director says, "We're used to the arena of critics and the flash of Hollywood being fair weather friends to us.

"I came on in the second year, now that's 11 years ago -- and I've already been through two backlashes. When I got on, the show was so red hot. It was in every blurb in every magazine. We were at the point we were like: 'Oh, man, we have to go pick up another award this weekend.' It's incredibly fun and exciting, and we were incredibly grateful for it. But there's a point where you feel like it's draining your adrenaline. Then the inevitable backlash starts -- just as the shows that were so red hot last year are starting to go through."

'TODAY' SHOW with Matt Lauer 11.11.05

"Goran was interviewed on NBC's The Today Show this morning. On "Where in the World is Matt Lauer" week, Matt was reporting from the Dalmatian Coast, and he took the viewers on a guided tour through Dubrovnik. Matt interviewed Goran as they were walking through a street in the old city. Goran looked fabulous wearing a brown leather bomber jacket with some cool patches, one of which was a NASA patch on the front. He was also wearing a white colored t-shirt under the jacket, and a great pair of bluejeans. I always thought Matt was fairly tall, but Goran towered over him. Anyway, one possible spoiler, but not really because people have mentioned it before, is that Goran mentioned that "next year" they would be filming an episode of ER in Croatia. Matt also commented on Goran's celebrity and noted that the paparazzi were out and about snapping pictures of Goran. Goran said that in his hometown nobody cares who he is, and he can pretty much walk around without being bothered by reporters. All in all, it was a very nice interview and of course looked fabulous. Whoever made that leather jacket should pay Goran a lot of money for advertising because I couldn't take my eyes off of either him or the jacket."

27 ноября 2005 программа Extra on the set ER. Интервью было с Парминдой Нагрой (Нила) и Шарифом Аткинсом (Галлант). Ведущий был в халате доктора Ковача. Они беседовали в основном о предстоящем эпизоде. "Свадьба Нилы и Галланта". ТАкже они показали отрывки из старых Extra. Клука процветала и в 7 сезоне)))) Уайл че-то там сделал сзади Горану

The whole thing originated from ER's set, which was fun. You got to see a good bit of it. I think Extra is usually made at NBC Studios, which is just across the freeway from Warner Brothers (don't hold me to that). The female co-host nearly drove me mad (excess entertainmo-perkiness does that to me), and Jerry whatzit looked silly in GV's lab coat, I thought. Oh, it was fun for a minute until you notice how, for all his Hollywood fakeboy muscles, he was drowning in it and had to keep his arms up because the sleeves were too long. At least he had the class to thank GV for the use of it, but you'd think someone could have taken the time to write out GV's last name phonetically so he'd get close to it, at least. Oh, gad, entertainment TV makes me catty.

It's amusing how they're managing to get GV's name mentioned more often than not when someone from ER is on a talk show, though. I thought it was my imagination at first, but Desert noticed it too. That's good; they need to support their lead like that. I think they referred to him as the "new head of the doc squad." Har.

Gad, Parminder Nagra and Sharif Atkins were charming. They must be filming about #12 now, so SA must be in at least one or two more episodes. They made a joke that suggested he was involved in whatever episode was being filmed the day old Jerry was on the set (I'm trying to avoid a spoiler here). I wonder if he's going to be a recurring character for at least some part of the remainder of the season . That would be nice. They had two or three small clips from the new episode, including one with Dubenko that was cute.

Not much about much of anyone else, though. There were a couple very old clips of the original cast, mostly Clooney, a brief one with JL telling the "how I hide the terminology" story they all tell, and one of NW playing a prank on GV. Otherwise most of the quick takes were from Time of Death and Wake Up from what I could tell.

If the weekend edition of "Extra" hasn't aired in your area yet, you may want to check it out. It is an "On the Set" edition and Jerry Penacoli cohosts from the set of ER. He does most of it wearing a labcoat with the name L. Kovac on it. LOL! The interviews he does are just with Parminder Nagra and Sharif Atkins to promote the upcoming wedding episode (I Do) but they show quite a few old clips as well. One of the clips is of Noah Wyle teasing GV during an interview. My favorite part - Jerry P. refers to Goran as the "new leader of the doc squad".

Since the visit was mainly to promote "I Do"
